This might just be our favorite cheese Grison makes.

Enzian Blue is a small-batch raw milk blue cheese with the rich, bold character you’d expect from a great blue without losing the quality of the milk underneath it.

It’s fantastic crumbled over one of our Evergreen burgers or steaks, tossed into a salad, paired with fruit and sourdough, or eaten exactly as it comes.

If you’re a blue cheese person, this is the one we’d tell you not to skip.

Made in the Missouri Ozarks

Grison Dairy & Creamery was founded in 1997 by Swiss immigrants who brought their family’s European dairy traditions to the Missouri Ozarks. Today, the family raises Holstein and Brown Swiss cows on their farm near Ava, Missouri, emphasizing pasture and producing much of their own forage.

Their cheesemaking roots run especially deep. Grison’s cheesemaker trained in Switzerland through a traditional cheesemaking apprenticeship before bringing that knowledge back to the family dairy in Missouri.

The result is something pretty special: small-batch Missouri cheese with genuine Swiss roots, made just a few hours from us.
